We are gearing up for another season of the North End Farmers’ Market, and we are currently accepting vendor applications!
The Market returns this June 5th, and will be held every Wednesday from 3:00pm - 6:00 pm at the Blust Avenue Teaching Garden located at 417 Blust Avenue, Mansfield, Ohio.

Showcase your fresh and crafted items in our open air market, and be a part of the community effort of the North End Local Foods Initiative! The market will accept SNAP and WIC forms of payment and vendors will be reimbursed dollar for dollar on all purchases. This fresh air market is part of NECIC’s North End Local Foods Initiative (NELFI). Established in 2014, the North End Farmers’ Market focuses on providing fresh, healthy food for North End residents as well as boosting the local economy by helping North End residents launch their own small market business.
A great example of one of our vendors is Mark Suttle from Orville, Ohio, who has participated for the last three years. Suttle brings a wide variety of goods to the market such as meats, cheeses, baked goods, jams, fruits and vegetables. When asked what keeps Suttle loyal to the North End Farmers’ Market, he states, “I love the people working the market. The customers are friendly as well. They offer an EBT match which is a great service to your community”.
In addition to the market, The Teaching Garden offers a Teen Garden Club and a K - 4th grade Jr Master Gardener Club. We offer community cooking classes to learn how to cook fresh and there is a Kids Day in the Garden.
