North End Elder Program

Join your peers for fun, food, and fellowship!

Are you a North End resident over the age of 60?

If so, you are invited to join the NECIC North End Elder Program, a fun social and educational event held the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at our

Neighborhood Outreach Center, 486 Springmill St., Mansfield, OH.

What is the Elder Program?

The NECIC North End Elder Program is your chance to give and receive input, news, and updates about the North End area, people, and events. The Elder planning team, made up of area seniors, plans all activities and speakers, and requests a small donation for each event.

When and where Is It?

Meetings are held from noon to 1:30 p.m., at the Neighborhood Outreach Center, 486 Springmill St.  The second Tuesday event features speakers on topics of interest to seniors, while the fourth Tuesday event includes social activities. Lunch is served at each event.

You are our history, and we need you for our future

NECIC hopes to further promote our strongest program through more participation of North End seniors and community members.  Traditionally seniors have been important leaders, and a community has looked to their elders for their wisdom, guidance, and historical perspective.

Seniors are important to NECIC and the North End. Through increased involvement in community activities and planning, seniors can have a positive impact on the quality of life in the North End. To ensure NECIC responds to the concerns of our senior residents, a North End Elder has a designated seat on our Board.

Call Tionna Perdue at 419-522-1611,  to reserve your seat at our next NECIC North End Elder Program.
