Marketing Intern

 

Position Summary:
The intern will assist with ongoing and new marketing efforts to help increase NECIC’s visibility and impact. This position offers hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing, communications, and community development while contributing to the growth of Mansfield’s North End.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with designing and executing social media campaigns.
  • Create engaging content for all major social media platforms to increase brand awareness.
  • Schedule and post content at optimal times.
  • Design and distribute printed materials including brochures, flyers, and signage.
  • Create promotional materials for events (digital and print).
  • Manage and update content for NECIC’s website.
  • Develop print, social, and Google ads.
  • Help create and edit short and long-form videos.
  • Represent NECIC at community events as a brand ambassador.
  • Respond to comments and messages on social media.
  • Complete other marketing and communications tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Current college student enrolled in an accredited program (communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, or a related field).
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Basic skills in Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Constant Contact, or CapCut preferred.
  • Self-starter with good time management and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working with diverse individuals across all backgrounds.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance.

 

Compensation & Hours:

  • $12.00 per hour
  • Up to 210 total hours during Winter 2025
