Green Peoplez Take Home Seven Blue Ribbons
The Green Peoplez, a group of young, intrepid entrepreneurs that have delved whole-heartedly into the NECIC Blust Avenue Teaching Garden, took home seven blue first-place ribbons and two red second-place ribbons from the Mansfield Men's Garden Club 62nd Annual Fall Harvest Show at Kingwood Center Gardens on Saturday.
Black Plastic: The Easiest Way to Garden
Saturday's black plastic gardening class at John's Park was a lot of fun, despite the heat and humidity. At least we had a nice breeze blowing that day!
Organic Matter Matters
Once again, the weather was less than ideal for an outdoor garden program. Are we doomed to rain and chilly temps for every program? Maybe. Does that scare the stalwart gardener? Of course not!
