Director of Sales

 

 

Position Summary

The Director of Sales is responsible for driving employer partnerships and earned revenue growth for NECIC’s staffing operations. This role owns the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and employer engagement to closing job orders and supporting (not managing) successful placements.

This is a results-driven leadership role reporting directly to the CEO.


Roles and Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Growth

    • Develop and close new employer partnerships across Mansfield, Ashland, Wooster, and surrounding markets
    • Lead employer-facing sales strategy for NECIC Staffing
    • Grow monthly and annual billable revenue in alignment with organizational goals
    • Re-engage inactive or underperforming employer accounts

    Employer Partnerships

    • Serve as primary relationship manager for key employer accounts
    • Negotiate job orders, pricing, and volume commitments
    • Represent NECIC professionally with businesses, partners, and community stakeholders

    Pipeline Management

    • Maintain a structured sales pipeline with clear stages and outcomes
    • Track and report weekly on employer activity, job orders, placements, and revenue pace
    • Ensure pipeline coverage to support near-term revenue targets

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner closely with the staffing team to align employer demand with candidate supply
    • Coordinate with marketing to support outbound sales efforts and employer materials
    • Work with finance and leadership to ensure billing accuracy and margin alignment

     


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, staffing, workforce development, or B2B services
  • Demonstrated ability to close business and manage employer relationships
  • Comfortable with performance targets, accountability, and direct reporting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Alignment with NECIC’s mission and community-centered values
