The Staffing & Data Specialist at NECIC Staffing plays a vital role in linking job seekers with meaningful work while supporting data collection, reporting, and administrative operations that strengthen NECIC’s mission to build equity and economic opportunity across Mansfield and the surrounding areas.
This position combines staffing coordination, data tracking, and administrative support — perfect for someone who loves working with people but also enjoys keeping things organized behind the scenes.
Recruit, interview, and identify candidates for temporary and temp-to-hire placements with local employers.
Conduct pre-employment screenings, background checks, and onboarding processes.
Match qualified candidates to open job orders, ensuring a smooth and successful placement experience.
Lead client-specific orientations and training sessions to prepare associates for job start.
Collect, enter, and analyze data related to workforce development, placements, and program outcomes.
Maintain accurate employee and client records within NECIC’s applicant tracking system.
Assist with preparing reports, forms, and documentation for funders, partners, and internal teams.
Support payroll processing, attendance tracking, and compliance reporting as assigned.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local employers, schools, and workforce partners.
Respond promptly to client requests and assist in resolving associate or workplace issues.
Participate in local events, job fairs, and community networking sessions to promote NECIC Staffing.
Uphold and promote NECIC’s mission of alternative staffing and community empowerment in every interaction.
Partner with local organizations to connect individuals facing barriers to employment with supportive services.
Represent NECIC Staffing on workforce development committees, task forces, and collaborative initiatives.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in staffing, HR, data management, or workforce development.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage people from all backgrounds.
Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, and applicant tracking or CRM systems.
Organized, dependable, and self-motivated — able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Valid Ohio driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel.
Experience with payroll processing, reporting, or database management.
Knowledge of Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) principles or local workforce initiatives.
Understanding of NECIC’s North End Community Platform
