Phil Mazzocco, President
Phil is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Ohio State Mansfield. He received his Ph.D. in Social Psychology in 2006 from Ohio State Columbus. His research focuses on race-related beliefs and opinions.
Recently, he published a book on racial ideology entitled “The Psychology of Racial Colorblindness” (2017). He also delivered a related TedX Mansfield Talk on the same topic, entitled “What’s Wrong with Racial Colorblindness” (https://youtu.be/jetdCVgT3bY).
He has resided in Mansfield for the past 13 years with his wife, Beth, and two children, Abby and Josh.

Aaron Williams Jr.
Following in his father's footsteps, Aaron is pastor of Maddox Memorial Church of God in Christ. Aaron is originally from New Jersey and moved to Mansfield in 1979. His mother is a Mansfield native.
Aaron enjoys working with NECIC and positively affecting the lives of the North End people. A father and husband, he hopes to help make the North End a safer and more prosperous place for families. "Kids that grow up here should feel like they have the same opportunities as anyone else," he said.

Julianna Akuchie, Treasurer
Julianna is native to Mansfield and currently works at the Mansfield YMCA as the finance director.

Paul Kemerling
Paul is one of the founders and original Board members of NECIC; he returns to the board after a five year hiatus. In 2011 Paul and his wife opened Relax, It's Just Coffee, a neighborhood coffee bar located in downtown Mansfield. Paul brings nearly 25 years worth of non-profit experience to the NECIC Board room.

Braxton Charles Daniels III
Braxton is a North End native that still has a lot of family ties to the community. Daniels also partners with community driven organizations and companies in the area, such as: Richland Source, Graziani Multimedia, Field Market, Relax It’s Just Coffee, OSU Mansfield and NECIC. His photography is displayed throughout NECIC's office and the City of Mansfield.
He's now a proud owner of 3rd Cup Tea, located in the heart of downtown Mansfield.

Valerie F. Webb Harper
Valerie is a Mansfield native that loves to help others in the community. She is an administrative professional at UMADAOP Community Outreach Center, located at 215 N. Trimble Road, here in Mansfield, Ohio. Previously, she worked as an Ombudsman for Area Agency On Aging.
Loretta Norris
Loretta Norris is a Mansfield native who worked at HR Choices for a number of years. She previously served on the NECIC board as the Executive Secretary and has rejoined the board for another term. Loretta enjoys serving on the board and working with Deanna because they are a sincere group who wants to uplift the community. She appreciates the forward thinking and the ability to voice your opinions and have them heard.

Ken Dudley
Ken is the Marketing Manager at The Gorman-Rupp Company. He was raised in Mansfield and brings 25 years of marketing and management experience to the board. In addition to his professional background, Ken is involved in the Richland Preservation Action Group as well as The Mansfield Memory Project community photo archiving effort.

Loretha is a retired from Foundations Academy. She decided to join NECIC board to be a helping hand with the elders in the community. She is an active participant at our Elder Program and Neighbor Up Night gatherings.
