Paul Kemerling,
President
Paul is one of the founders and original Board members of NECIC; he returns to the board after a five year hiatus. In 2011 Paul and his wife opened Relax, It's Just Coffee, a neighborhood coffee bar located in downtown Mansfield. Paul brings nearly 25 years worth of non-profit experience to the NECIC Board room.

Aaron Williams Jr. Vice President
Following in his father's footsteps, Aaron is pastor of Maddox Memorial Church of God in Christ. Aaron is originally from New Jersey and moved to Mansfield in 1979. His mother is a Mansfield native.
Aaron enjoys working with NECIC and positively affecting the lives of the North End people. A father and husband, he hopes to help make the North End a safer and more prosperous place for families. "Kids that grow up here should feel like they have the same opportunities as anyone else," he said.

Phil Mazzocco, Secretary
Phil is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Ohio State Mansfield. He received his Ph.D. in Social Psychology in 2006 from Ohio State Columbus. His research focuses on race-related beliefs and opinions.
Recently, he published a book on racial ideology entitled “The Psychology of Racial Colorblindness” (2017). He also delivered a related TedX Mansfield Talk on the same topic, entitled “What’s Wrong with Racial Colorblindness” (https://youtu.be/jetdCVgT3bY).
He has resided in Mansfield for the past 13 years with his wife, Beth, and two children, Abby and Josh.

Julianna Akuchie, Treasurer
Julianna is native to Mansfield and currently works at the Mansfield YMCA as the finance director.

Braxton Charles Daniels III
Braxton is a North End native that still has a lot of family ties to the community. Daniels also partners with community driven organizations and companies in the area, such as: Richland Source, Graziani Multimedia, Field Market, Relax It’s Just Coffee, OSU Mansfield and NECIC. His photography is displayed throughout NECIC's office and the City of Mansfield.
He's now a proud owner of 3rd Cup Tea, located in the heart of downtown Mansfield.

Valerie F. Webb Harper
Valerie is a Mansfield native that loves to help others in the community. She is an administrative professional at UMADAOP Community Outreach Center, located at 215 N. Trimble Road, here in Mansfield, Ohio. Previously, she worked as an Ombudsman for Area Agency On Aging.

Loretta Norris
Loretta Norris is a Mansfield native who worked at HR Choices for a number of years. She previously served on the NECIC board as the Executive Secretary and has rejoined the board for another term. Loretta enjoys serving on the board and working with Deanna because they are a sincere group who wants to uplift the community. She appreciates the forward thinking and the ability to voice your opinions and have them heard.

Jodie A. Perry
Jodie A. Perry, IOM, CCEO-AP has served as President of the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce in Mansfield, Ohio since July, 2014. In that role she is responsible for overseeing the operations of the 1,000 member organization which works to promote the business and economic vitality of the Richland County area.
Prior to this position, she led the Greece (NY) Chamber of Commerce and the Van Wert (OH) Area Chamber of Commerce and also served on staff at the Ashland (OH) Area Chamber of Commerce. She also worked as the Deputy Chief Clerk for the US Senate Banking Committee. Jodie received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science & Religion from Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio.
Jodie is excited to join the NECIC Board, "I value the great work they are already doing and hope to be a link to the broader business community."

Ken Dudley
Ken is the Marketing Manager at The Gorman-Rupp Company. He was raised in Mansfield and brings 25 years of marketing and management experience to the board. In addition to his professional background, Ken is involved in the Richland Preservation Action Group as well as The Mansfield Memory Project community photo archiving effort.

Cynthia Antoinette Daley
Cynthia has lived in Mansfield for over 14 years. She lived on the South side when she initially moved here then later the family purchased a home on the North End where she currently resides.
Antoinette is currently working as an HR Executive Specialist and a part-time Night Auditor. She has been a long-time volunteer and member of NECIC and is one of the founders of the Welcome Community Garden at the corner of South Benton St and Marion Ave. She is a Finance Assistant of the New Beginning Full Gospel Baptist Church located at 91 Marion Ave. and currently the Treasurer of the Mansfield NAACP. In the past, she volunteered at St. Peters Catholic Church, Feed the Needy Program and the Salvation Amy Thanksgiving giveaway.

Loretha Cross
Loretha is a retired from Foundations Academy. She decided to join NECIC board to be a helping hand with the elders in the community. She is an active participant at our Elder Program and Neighbor Up Night gatherings.

Jennifer joined the NECIC board because she has always been an active member in the community. Her passion for the youth in the neighborhood motivates her to continue to contribute to the positive changes that the organization provides.

Suzy Beeson
Born and raised in Mansfield, Suzy returned to Ohio with her two children in 2003 from the Pacific Northwest where they lived for 10 years. She has been a North End resident since 2015, and is passionate about downtown revitalization and community development. She is excited to join the NECIC board and contribute to the important work being done in the North End.
Currently employed at Cleveland Financial Group, she has also worked for Mansfield City Schools, Blackbird Bakery, the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce, and has been an active volunteer with RCDG, Friends of Mansfield Parks, and NECIC.

Jaqueline Rawls
A mother of 8 children, North End native, and housewife for 43 years, Jackie has been an active resident in the City of Mansfield. She teaches line dancing at NECIC and the Friendly House for our senior citizens.
